I have an application I designed in VB6 on an XP machine. The application does everything I need it to do as long as it is on an XP machine. On a W2K machine everything works but two items. The two things are; there is a print
capability with in the app. When you are ready to print the dialog box comes up asking you to select your printer. When the printer is select the application crashes. The second a item is when you go to save the document.
Again if you select to save the document the dialog box opens for you to select where you want to save the document. As with the print job when you click the save the application crashes. Again this does not happen on an XP
machine.
As a test I had one of the other programmers compile the same application on his W2K machine and everything worked and it also worked on my XP machine. My question is, does a script exist that while allow the application compiled on an XP machine run flawlessly on a W2K machine?
Thanks for your help,
Harry
