XP - Not applying group policy

I just installed a new XP machine yesterday and it seems to refuse to download the group policy from the server. All the other machines have been doing this just fine (even other XP). I even ran the GPUpdate with all different commands -- still no luck. Is it possible that the XP machine isn't looking for the policy on the server? Any help is appeciated.

Stupid question, has to be asked. You did make sure you are logging onto the Domain, not locally, right?

Yeah, logging into the domain.

XP has all the service packs & updates. Server is running SP4.
