Problem:
Windows XP OS
have Cblade virus in Windows System Information folder
This is a protected folder take off system protection, and still can't access the folder
Have run virus scans with 2 different packages with 0 virus' found
Reboot system and presented with dialogue box of the virus that is found,
Any ideas as to how to delete this file? or even how to get into the folder to actually access the files so I can delete it manually.

Alternatively you can try this.

Create a new System Restore point. Then run the Disk Cleanup tool using the "More Options" tab to remove all but the most recent Restore Point.

Thanks for the assistance and the great links, Using them I was able to solve this problem.

Thanks again
