Packages that ran regularly are now failing since I applied fixpak 10 to my DB2 admin client (I'll post on the other forum as well). Transform fails with a status 9: Permission denied. This is a generic error.
Here's my environment:

XP
MDAC 2.7 - Upgraded to 2.8, didn't help.
SQL Server 2000 (SP3)
DB2 Admin Client v7.2.1 Fixpak 10.
db2cli.dll - v 7.01.00.50
msdasql.dll - v 2.71.9030.0

Some people on the team think the problem is XP. They have an older version of the DB2 odbc driver which worked fine until they went from 2000 to XP. Moved back to 2000 - packages started working.

I have not had a problem with XP - my problem started when I upgraded my DB2 driver. Rolling back is not a desirable option. Anybody have any ideas?

If this is UDB then i've seen something similar with the Fix pack on WIN 2K can i suggest you look at the Fixpack sometime IBM fix one thing using a Fixpack that actually breaks something else. Also which fixpack were you running on previously.

Thanks. I was at fixpak 4. We'll be moving up to the db2 v8.1 client soon. But I've been leary about installing until I've got my linux udb databases upgraded to 8. Maybe I'll reinstall 7.2.1 fixpak 4.

Installed fixpak 10 so I could browse 8.1 udb databases and administer 7.2 databases. We're testing the 8.1 environment on a separate server. Prod databases are 7.2.
