xp clean install

I have a fujitsu laptop but no recovery disk it has crashed and when i tried to reinstall win xp home it stops half way through the the file setup showing the message file not found i have ran the disk a few times but it will not pass this point

Since your recovery disk is no longer in user then are you trying do some thing called complete "PC restore." for that you dont requier recovery disk i believe.
