Hi all,
One of our clients have an SBS2k3 ad domain and about 20-30 workstations all running XP. This morning one of the users when they logged in had a prompt-bubble appearing from the systray saying "Please lock your workstation using CTRL+ALT+DEL then unlock it with your password to gain access to authenticate your network connections"

Doing as it said worked a charm - but I've never seen that prompt before. Has anyone else? I can't seem to find a direct reference to it on the ms-kb.

The only time that I've seen that on our domain is when a user is logged in two places and then changes their password on one machine. The other realizes that the user's credentials have changes and asks them to update them.

Yeah it's basically were your cached credentials have expired or don't match your roaming credentials.

Cool, thanks very much. Was pretty puzzled by it!
