Xmodem Via Tracker & NIU Fails

Hi,
I'm trying to Transfer files to an MD110 BC10, Via a Tracker 2600.
port on the Tracker is setup as 9600,n,8,1 , on the Switch we have tried both auto-baud rate and 9600,n,8,1, Xmodem.

but when I try and transfer the files using the ficpi Commands & xmodem in Winfiol5.2, I get failure,with 'Too many tries'. but goto site & transfer the files locally on the same NIU port, from same laptop etc. the files transfer fine first time.

This has happend of a few sites but most of our sites seem fine,

any suggestions?

Is it todo with the strange command echo'ing thing which happens on the NIU?

the tracker is not 100% transparent and can give problems with xmodem transfers

restart the niu
restart prog units
twp3, fip, nip
