Hi All,

I've developed web sites using HTML CSS and ASP, however, I've never used XML directly.

Am I missing out on something, and should I get familiar with it?

I've heard that .NET is based stringly on XML.

Any opinions, discussions, ideas, etc.?

There's another very recent thread in this group related to XML books. You should take a look. I think if you have programming experience already the biggest thing to understand is what XML is and what XML isn't. There's been so much hype for so long that there are a lot of misconceptions out there.

thanks for your input, I've downloaded some e-books from Kazaa which I will look at as well.

And I think, you dont miss anything if you do not use .NET !

Even for XML generation, parsing, Transformation etc. it is very important to stay open. Use Java/C++ and XML and OpenSource XML Techniques like Apache programs and dont support the ms selfish way to handle things.
