.XML reader on Server 08

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if openoffice worked on server 08. I need something quickly to just read Excel docs from a thin client. Any other programs welcome as long as they function on x64 Win Server 08.

I haven't ever tried installing OpenOffice on 64 bit Windows Server 2008, so I can't tell you for fact if it would work with no problems. But, if all you need to be able to do is read the Excel files without editing them, then you can always use the free Excel Viewer from Microsoft.
