Hi,

I have been searching around for how to do this with little success.

I have an xml file and i have created the table in mySQL, i just have no idea how to put the data into the table :).

I cant find exactly what i want, so my search criteria must be incorrect.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

check out microsoft's xml parser and related objects named, strangely enough, msxml ... just do a search on it and you'll find the objects that can take an xml file and turn it into a hierarchical xml object model. Then you can just connect to mySQL with plain old ADO and push the data in that way.

Another choice would be to do transform on the xml file to put it into the same format as a persisted ADO recordset. Then inflate the recordset and go from there. I guess it depends on which is your stronger skill: xslt or vbscript.
