I'm using InDesign CS2 to create start lists for races. The "input" is XML generated from a database. A "virtual user" is used to control InDesign: Open the right template, mount the right XML-file, save ID-doc and generate PDF.

The problem is that I have not found any way of making ID add the number of pages needed for each XML. The function "autoflow" where you need to shift-click in order to automatically add the suitable number of pages is semi-automatic. Therefore I can not use it.

As a consequence the templates I'm creating need to have "extra pages" by defalt in order to handle XML-files with many races.

I'm thankful for all ideas I can get from you.

InFlow from seems to work in my XML-flow! BUT it is not for free...

I also tried EasyFlow from 65bit Software Ltd, but the plug-in added 6500 pages (when 4 were needed) and made InDesign freeze...
