xml/flash photo slideshow remote problem

Hi all,

My problem is regarding this tutorial which i have done. Its a flash/xml photo slideshow

http://www.republicofcode.com/tutorials/flash/slideshow/

I am however experiencing a problem.

When i view the swf locally it is fine and works as it should.

When i view the swf directly in its url location

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/cfslideshow.swf

it also works.

However when i place it on this webpage it doesnt function

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/new-music

the path to my cfslideshow.swf and slideshow.xml file is:

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/cfslideshow.swf

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/slideshow.xml

the path to the images it pulls is:

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/images/cf_img1.png

Can anyone provide any advice in where i may be going wrong?
I can post my code for you to see also.

my hunch is that is something pretty simple...a path problem or something?
or maybe even the <object> code that im using to add the swf to the webpage?

would really appreciate some help...

Everything is relative to where the initial .html is located...

If you stick this .html in the same folder as the .swf (

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/...

) and call it from there does it then work?

the good news is it does work when i put the .html folder in here

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/custom/testpage.html

however, having that url appear in the address bar isnt the best. Any ideas, given that it works when i place the html in the same directory as the swf and xml file, how i can get it to work with the wordpress page...

hi - i moved the swf file and the xml file to this destination:

http://www.craigfagan.com/wordpress/

and it worked.

However when you leave a comment on the page it no longer works? Any ideas? Try and leave a comment and you will see what i mean.

definetely a path issue i think...but cant work it out..
