I'm looking for a good free XML editor. Can anyone recommend one?

Notepad?

i cant recommend notepad.
it works but it is really hardcore xml-writing if you ask me. you have no colors and it does not really help you do find mistakes or even validate xml or other xml files.

i can recommend xmlspy homeediton (completly free) or xmlspy any other editon but they are just a 30 day trial.
