XML and Page References

Hi, I am trying to automate some of our workflow using xml tags in IDCS2. I would like to use placeholders for a couple page references. I figured out how to use the tags and generate a simple xml file.

I have "page xxx" set up to fill in the correct page number and it works when I change the xml file. However when I tag another box, the Indesign xml structure changes rendering the original xml obsolete. Is there any way to duplicate a tag without changing the xml file? I would like to have multiple instances of the same tag in one document.

Nevermind - I figured out what I needed to do and its working now.
