I'm getting XMI001 and XMI002 Messages printing reguarding my TMDI cards that are used for regular T1s. The loop that i have programmed for PRI isn't printing these messages. They are printing every minuet. Any suggestions.

Thanks,
Nate

Change the card, those errors are telling you that the switch has lost card polling, and then the card response

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Have swapped card with another TMDI card, There are 3 Standard T1s programmed, it is happening on all 3 cards.

Sounds like a call to ETAS/GNTS/whatever they call it today. The TMDI cards are/were nortorius for causing strange problems to occur. For example, if I FDL my card, I get a whole screen of errors until I disable and reenable it.

Just curious, does it make any difference as to what card has the clock controller on it? (ie, does the PRI card have the CC?)

CARD THAT HAS CC NEEDS TO MATCH LD 73

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Ended up calling ETAS, the fix was to out my tmdi cards and program them all the T1s as PRI and the XMI Messages went away. I thought if they were programmed as PRI they required and DCH but i was wrong.

So...if you have them programed as a PRI, how do you set the signaling (ex., EM4). And what if the encoding is D4, not ESF? Do you have all 24 channels available?

Sounds like a kludge to me.

Have these ever worked??

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
