hi guys,
i receive this error message sometimes and the calls are cut.
% *** XMI000 29/10/09 09:11:08
% OPRDATA: 12 : XNET cLAN polling failure on port 0

The switch is 61c Rel 4.5 with a carrier remote shelf connected to loop 12. The controller and the carrier remote card are already replaced and the line between PBX and remote shelf was checked by the provider. any ideas what could cause this problem?

Best place to look is on the MMI connection - if this is a carrier net card - it will be located on the I/o pannel. If this is on a multi fiber ipe box it will be on the back of the box.

You will be able to see if getting errors on T1. Possible that even though carrier tested T1, you could get errors if CSU clocking is not correct.

Do you have a replacement card for the Network card in the PBX? If so try that. Also, There could be a clock problem, do you get the issue on both CPU's?

@ reusser
it is not a fiber just a copper connection. the clock is tracked to one of the carrier loops

@trvlr1
there is a local carrier card connected to loop 12 and this one was replaced
