XM Radio fades

Have hooked up an XM Radio to a Compact ICS and i am having strang problems. The volume fades in and out on T series phones but is fine on M series. Tried hooking XM to MICS and got nothing at all. I am using matching 600ohm transformer, still having problems, any ideas?

Have you tried using another music source to see if the problem is actually the T Series phone or the XM Source? I don't understand why it wouldn't have worked on the MICS and again try another source and isolate the problem.

I have used another radio source, works fine on both series phones and 2 different xm units give the same problem.

Are you using the earphone output on the XM and do you have the same problem without the 600 ohm matching xformer?
