I am trying to add a the XL graph object to a form but it dosen't seem to see the data from the sheet i've selected. Could anyone tell me how i populate the Graph Object with data?

Kind regards
Mark

Hi Mark,

I assume you're trying to use a MSOffice Chart 9.0 Object in a UserForm - am I correct?

I believe the MSOffice Chart 9.0 requires an associated MSOffice Spreadsheet 9.0 Object on the same Form, but I've not tried to use it.

To display a chart created from Worksheet data, it's best to:
1. Embed the chart in the sheet with its data.
2. Name it (See my FAQ707-4055 for how to do this).
3. Export it as a GIF picture, then Import it into an Image object on the form.

This method's a bit clunky, but it works. John Walkenbach describes the method here:

Hope that helps!

Chris

Thanks Chris,

The method is very helpful.
Shame MS provides tools that are not very easy to use!!

Thanks again
Mark
