Cradle to grave is great and the wallboard looks quite flexible, but the way they are using queuing is annoying and the lack of ACW and DND reason codes is a huge minus point.

Also, it seems that all logins hare the same view. This cannot be right, can it???

I've got to admit, even though on the face of it it looks a little prettier than CCR, I'm struggling to be that impressed.

Anybody fancy pointing out what I seem to be missing?!?!?! :)

Jamie,

I am installing my first Xima server next week. Do they provide some sort of training for administrators?

We recently tested Xima and thus far, I'd say there is more Cons then Pro's. Though the ability to create great reports is there, i find it to have a lack of Documentation when it comes to creating the formulas needed to ensure you are getting the correct data.

Our company will be moving to Xima and I surely hope they have much better support in the near future.

Yes logins share the same view, that is being changed I believe. It's not the features as such that makes it better than CCR (although it is much better than Contact store) it's that it's installed in like 3 mins on any OS not just server and once installed it just works and keeps working, none of the wrapping in cotton wool and high maintenance nature of CCR :)

Jamie, report 2.0 will have user accounts and then you can select what each user can do or see.

Also you can do feature requests to them.
They are not as big as Avaya so good suggestions don't take a couple of years i guess :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Jamie,

either give me a call, or give Jon Florence a call from Xima. I think you just need to sit down with someone who knows it and can show you around.

I have to admit, the more "hidden" stuff like funky formulas and filters could be better documented.

HSM is right.
Call them and they will arrange a GoToMeeting with you and explain it all to you.

Thanks guys. TBH I think my company is looking for something to go further than CCR rather than just do the same.

I do like the look of this but stuggling to find a good reason. the only one I really like is pressence on the wallboard, I have a good few customer that want that. But the lack of ACW and reason codes will kill it I think.

Although CCR can be a pain, we have plenty of happy customer running it and don't have major install hastles. Not as easy as this I will agree!!!!

The last few releases have been pretty good. A couple of bugs, but Avaya have been right on it and Ross comes out, gets it sorted and we move on.

Did they fix the inaccurate reports? or do they still show different result for the same fields?

Reporting has always been a problem for Avaya CCC was fuzzy and CCR is even worse.
Most of our customers are mostly interesting in reports and the Xima is way better as CCR.
I have my first install on the Xima Callcenter software next week and I have seen only a short introduction of it but it seems to be enough for most customers.

A simple mind delivers great solutions
