I have installed R2 on my 2000sp4 machine. When I try to launch the .net admin launchpad or the info view the page displays the Html code. Usually this is because the .net framework is not installed on the machine. But it is. I have version 2.0 of the framework (in fact I have version 1.1 and the 2.0 sdk). I have searched my machine and the WCA_Enterprise.dll is installed and in the proper directory. Any idea what this might be and how I might resolve it? Thanks in advance!!

I think you need to change the version of .Net that IIS is using for your install. You'll have to use version 1 not version 2. If both versions of .Net are installed, I've seen version 2 being set by default which, in my experience, has lead to errors in the Business Objects.

Open IIS manager. Highlight the BO website. Click on the ASP.NET tab and make sure the version is set to the 1 version.

You may have to restart IIS for the changes to take effect.

Good luck.

Have you looked at the platforms.txt document that is on the media that you got from BOBJ? This will tell you what version of the framework to use, which operating systems are supported, etc.
