I am having a problem with my printer. I was previously having the known Windows 2000/XP driver issue, but having used the solution found here (with much thanks to "excalior") to fix that a few months ago, I am now having another problem. When I try to print, the machine begins to load the paper as it used to when it was working properly, only now it gets hung-up/stops progressing with the print job. It just endlessly says "printing" on the onboard LCD screen just as if were in the process of printing. I have to unplug/replug the machine to get it out of this state. This is an "all-in-one" machine, and everything else seems to work fine: i.e. copying and scanning.
Also, I might add that one might think it was a communication problem, but I get the exact same outcome when I even just try to print out a test page/demo page straight from the printer onboard menu.
I have tried leaving it unplugged overnight to see if it would help in any way, alas no, it didn't.

Thanks in advance,
Kelly

Kelly,
Someone else may offer a more model specific responce for you but I'd recommend you uninstall / reinstall your printer software. Sounds like a classic case of driver corruption to me. (i.e. copying and scanning perform correctly )
bye

Thanks, but as I said in the beginning though, the printer driver shouldn't have anything to do with printing out a test page/demo page straight from the printer should it?
