Hello everybody, :)

I have just bought an Xerox Phaser 6125 and when it's operational it seems to make a slight squeaking noise. Is this normal as it is only one day old?

Thanks in advance!

Regards.

When it's operational" Hah! Developers can be a bit tight when new. Ensure the unit is seated, it may be a bad one.

No printer should squeak, especially right out of the box. In taking one step further than Michael, a number of consumables could be causing the squeak including one of the toner cartridges, fuser or transfer roller. Unfortunately the only way I know to check is to repace 1 consumable at a time until the squeak goes away.
