Hi all,

We are currently having problems with Xerox 3500 Printers which are installed at the customers site, A little while ago we changed every 3500 in the estate so that they would print duplex, this chage was made successfully. some of the Printers were requested that we change the setting back to Normal, Here is where the problem lies, even though the driver is correct and present, and the paper size is defined by the server and not the workstations, the PAPer size is changing itself to letter instead of A4. The server states the printer is set to use any tray (reccomended)
The setting on the web console of the printer is set to use A4 but the users are getting Load A4 in tray. Is there any other areas where paper size is affected by the server?

Any help is much welcomed,

Thanks

Are the trays set correctly?

The Trays are set to use A4 and are set to use automatic selection of trays, as tray 1 is a manual feed.

Thanks

Hi,

Have you checked the layout options, on the advanced tab of the printer? this may have been set incorrectly. also what is the default reginal settings on the server? this might be set to US?

I have just found this option on the server and will test it out.

Many Thanks

Ian
