I have a SQL query logging to an IBM AS400 Client Access using Client Access ODBC Driver.
This query works with parameters and performs well.
The problem starts when, in Crystal Report Designer i try to use this query.
Trying refresh the error "Xbase error: Could not open file" appears, and shows me nothing.
The same error appears when browsing the fields. If anybody could help me i would be gratefull.

We are getting the same problem.

We are running an SQL based report through VB which gets its parameter from a temporary table. Before, its parameter was in crystal and the report was not intergrated within the VB app. Since we have changed it, we now get this error. We are using SQL Server 2000.

I would appreciate any help on this matter, I don't even know what xbase is!

Thanks in advance

Hey Guys!!
I get the same problem. We have an Oracle server that is accessed through ODBC. If I try to create a query with Crystal Query 6.0 I get the message "xBase error: Could not open the file".

xBase is a type of Database. It's the type that Clipper, dBase and FoxPro uses. I don't understand what this has to do with Oracle!!!

Anybody with any info would be great!!!

Thanks!!
