I am trying to register X-Lite 4.0 with my CS1000E, Rls 5.5j. Getting this error on Signalling Server:

14/12/2008 14:30:23 LOG0003 tSPReg: spRegistrar (line 744): endpoint [maaz]
not configured

I have configured a user end point with name maaz with L0 DN 5555, pointed 5555 in CDP as DSC towards SIP Route 40.

I am using my Service Domain as static-host-ipoct1-ipoct2-ipoct3-ipoct4.isp.com

I can Ping static-host-ipoct1-ipoct2-ipoct3-ipoct4.isp.com and when I put the same in my browser, it opens my Signaling Server which means it is recorded as valid DNS.

under Wireshark sniffing, I get status: 403 Forbidden under my SIP Header.

Looking forward for your kind guidance.

Found something in error... my Service Domain field is little too small for my Domain Name.... I am unable to type static-host-ipoct1-ipoct2-ipoct3-ipoct4.isp.com completely... last 5 characters can't be typed which means I will have to shorten Service Domain Name....

Still working for it.. Can it be possible by something like DNS Redirection etc? I have 2 Web Domains registered that may allow me to do so...

Pronei, I went through it, infact, I have memorized it :p

Please confirm me one thing... my Sip Service Domain, when opened in Web Browser, should open my Signaling Server, right?

Depends, if you NRS is Co-Res with SS or standalone.

If Your Service Domain's IP = CoRes NRS on SS then yes, your DNS entries should resolve to Element Manager as well as NRS.

Then only difference between the 2 services are the protocols, all port 80 $ 443 traffic will go to Element Manager, all SIP/H323/RTP will go to NRS for processing.

I have CoRes architecture. Actually I was trying to confirm and verifying my A & PTR Records by this. If Sip Domain m using is taking towards my SS IP, it A & PTR Records are verified and vice versa.

The situation at the moment is that the Sip Service Domain address is too long to be saved in the required field in NRS. I am trying to use one of my other DNS entries to be modified and pointed towards my SS.

Thanks for your kind guidance, I will try and will come back to you guys for further help. Thanks again.
