WWW & Parental Controls - time for a different approach?? 5

I have just spent a week evaluating various Parental Control software
( cybersitter, cyberpatrol, netnanny et a..) and in my opinion they all fail.
I think these controls are a case of bolting the stable door after the horses have long gone.

Going forward, more radical approaches are required.
But what??

(crikey!) have a long list of items they cannot carry, for
instance
'Indecent, Obscene or Offensive Articles and materials

Indecent or obscene communications, prints, photographs, books or other articles and packets bearing grossly offensive, indecent or obscene words, marks or designs are prohibited. Those discovered in transit will be stopped, and handed to Customs or the Police, who may take legal action against the sender and/or addressee. '

Not sure if this means rude on the outside.

I'm pleased to see we can post caterpillars within the UK. I must try that this summer.
