Recently instaled a WUSB54G USB network adapter on a Computer with an ASUS U8068 Motherboard running Windows XP.
The computer uses a VIA chipset.
Everything seems to be installed right the first time, but when I restarted the computer the device manager says that there are another instance of the controller already running with code 38.
If I try to reinstall the driver the windows wizard tells me the hardware could not be started with code 10.
When I look in the device manager it says there is no driver installed for this device, and hen I restart the PC I se the "another instance of this controller.." again.
I tried almost everything, from reinstalling the operating system to new BIOS, drivers and windows patches and the problem is persisting. Also tried to change the Adapter USB port connected and obtained the same result.
Please, somebody knows how to fix this problem?
