Hi all,
I have been attempting to get control over a problem that I am experiencing where wuauclt.exe (automatic updates) is taking up 100% cpu for several minutes on most of the machines in the domain. I have a WSUS server and a GPO to push the updates. However, when people come into the office and start up in the morning, the cpu is spiked because of the wuauclt.exe.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way to throttle this service so that it does not eat up so much CPU?
Thanks for your help.
