WSUS update dont display sheild on clients

Is it possiable to still have the WSUS running and updating the clients but not display the shield, showing that there are updates. so the the user on the client machine is unaware of updates taking place.

is there not a setting in the server that specifies whether to show notificatiosn in the task bar. Sorry, not familiar withthe aexact WSUS interface, but i imagine that is a property that is shared with SMS.

I looked through the GPO settings and cant see anything, which is where I would of thought it woould be. As to the WSUS server admin website, there is no settins for clients there that I can see.
