WSUS REINSTALLATION

Ive problem with WSUS installation on W2003 Enterprise SP1 server. Previous installation is succesfully uninstalled, but when ill try new install, i was end on this :

Microsoft Windows Server Update Services could not install
WSUSService and the performance counters.For more information,

try clean the registry.

Go into the registry and search for wsus than (if you find something press del and press f3 than del f3 etc.

MAKE A BACKUP OF THE SYSTEMSTATE FIRST.

Can you tell me what else is running on the machine.

File server only plus services fo macintosh. Nothing else.
W2003 enterprise SP1, all updates installed.

This server is Domain Controller. Services is DNS, WINS, FTP (ServU).

Re-install IIS and than wsus i am pretty shure the problem lies here.

I was reinstall (remove, restart, install, restart) IIS one week ago and installation end on same error message as now. I was trying to install MSDE or SQL server without WSUS. Nothing change, still same error messages. :eek:(

SQL installation is done without any errors.

regedit is the right way :eek:). I was manually edit registry and clean WSUS stuff. Now, everythings work. Thank U.

PS: i mean thats not good way to do it all to reinstall wsus. MS must work on it :eek:).
