WSUS logs... Ok to delete?

Mine are located here:

C:\WINNT\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1311675926

They are named something similar to this:

ex060503.log (May, 3rd 2006)

We have acculated 219 of these files (219 days) and 671 MB of data.

Do we need just the current day for WSUS to run properly? Does WSUS need any of these? Are these just logs and all are safe to delete?
 
try renaming them, if system still works, ok to delete em.

if system stops rename em back,
 
I thought that WSUS uses a database now to store it's information so you should be able to delete them, but try Budgie69's suggestion first.

WSUS stores it's information in an MSDE database, the logs that you are refering to are the IIS logs.
 
Logs are printed plain text statement output dumps and aren't required for operation.
