Does anyone know when WSUS 3.0 final is set for our WSUS is acting up and i can't quite get to the bottom of it so i was planning on a reinstall but seeing this makes me this i'l wait if we're talking weeks.

Interesting. Running the client diagnostic tool on a machine that is updating from a WSUS 3 server shows wuaueng.dll is version 7.0.6000.318 and states the version is WSUS 2.0. If i run the client diagnostic tool on a machine that is still updating from a WSUS 2 server the wuaueng.dll is version 5.8.0.2607 and states the version is WSUS 2.0. Wonder if you could just copy the newer wuaueng.dll to the WSUS 2 clients if that would help fix the problem. Excellent question porkchop, and the plot thickens.

Apparently the WU Catalog has been redesigned as well so that might be where the improvements lie I'm just interested to know.
