Hi,

i have a wss 2382 with 90 ap (2332-E1) connected through some ERS4500 switch.
Yesterday, the wss reboot due to power outage.
Now, only 40 ap are up, and i can see many up/down of the port where the other ap are connected:
Link Up Trap for Port: 4
Link Down Trap for Port: 4

Configuration on the wss and on the switch haven't change.

Can someone tell me how can i dagnose this?

Regards

Sounds like someone made some config changes and never saved them...did you implicitly look at the entire config including PORT SETTINGS? perhaps duplex and speed issue should be checked on the 4500 ports where the AP's are connected? Check if you have link first...remember PHY LAYER is almost always the culprit.

Real trouble call:
Customer: "I have a huge problem. A friend has put a screensaver on my computer, but every time I move the mouse, it disappears!"

Thanks for your response.
But unfortunately all the configuration is ok.
Same port config, same vlan config.
On a 4526, when a port become up, it is with 100Mbps Full duplex.
And then it become down.

For me, it's not a switch issue, maybe a cable issue? but for 40 ap?
