I have a HP platform currently running HP-UX 11.0, I am more versed at Linux and frankly, like the amount of free support available for Linux. I want to load Linus on this platform. Any place I can go to see if my hardware will accept Linux? Are YOU Sancho?....No you are not. Is Scott Baio Sancho?....NO, he is not!....Only.."I"....am Sancho!

Ask HP.

They support Linux on there platforms and know best I think.

I have an HP K200 running 10.20 and I wondered the same thing. Can I run Linux on this machine?

I talked to an HP Support Engineer.
He said I could not run Linux.

HP-UX runs on a RISC chip made by Motorola.

Linux runs on an Intel chip.

There's a Linux howto on this:

It has the Netservers, but K class and others you might have better luck at:

I would assume that the machine is not being used in a live environment ;)

Of course, what I'd really like to know is why would you want to put Linux on a HP? I wish I had a K-class to toy with, though. At least then I can evaluate how our production server will perform if we upgrade our 10.2 to 11...
