Find and run this program: "C:\Program Files\Borland\CBuilder4\Help\Tools\hcw.exe", and follow the tutorial within its help. A somewhat long story short; an .rtf file must first be created which will include footnote information. Once finished, hcw.exe is used to convert it to a .hlp file.

hi fiver,
I have located the tool & using that. Now i am getting this strange(for me) error.
It says " HC4002 warning:
The RTf file at C:\windows\desktop\first.hlp is corrupted at offset 264
File is not created ".
Do u have any clue???
^_^

try this: i had to make my own help files in bcb for the longest time, then i found Windows Help workshop. i downloaded it for free. try that.

Does anyone know of a way of converting between borland 5.01 resource files to the equivalent microsoft VC++ 6 file?

Thank you
