Hi,
I want to modify a field in a record. When I try to modify the record from Access environment, dispite the fact that I'm the only user I receive always the writing conflict messagebox with 3 buttons:"save record", "copy to clipboard" and "reject" (the caption of the buttons could be slightly different because I use german Office).
The backend is an SQL Server and I access it from Access through ODBC. (in SQL Server Enterprise Manager I can modify any field without any problem)
Any idea ? Is that an Access or ODBC problem ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your intersert but the problem is solved now. The problem was that I had records with fields of type bit in SQL Server which was not initialised. I mean Null insted of 0 or 1. When the bit type fields got a value the problem disappear.
Thanks anyway
