We have an access application frontend with SQL server backend. When I add a field to the main client table and relink the table in access it does not let me change information in the client record. It states that another user is in the record, but they are not.

I add the field into the sql database, I go to access and relink the table in access. Before I even add the new fields to one of the forms I go to the database and try to change a record. It does not let me. I can add fields to other tables and relink them and it does not affect my ability to add or change data. However, with the main table it does. I hope this helps explain this more.
