Hello. I have created a library database and I need to be able to wrap text in some of the fields in order to view everything when I print it. Right now words get cut off because it is just to long to see on the screen so I am unable to fix it. How can I do this?

Is this a form design and/ro a report design problem? (And not a table design problem)

If the table can accept the data, that is the most important thing.

Pertaining to the form, look at changing the design, perhaps to fit within an 800x600 screen resolution. You can make your text box or memor fields longer insteaad of wider, etc.

In the fields that need to wrap, set the Can Grow property to Yes.

Thank you both for responding. I do have it set to can grow. But I need the table to kind of look like a Excel sheet where it wraps the text. I use all 250 letters that can fit but when I go to print it, words are cut off becauase I am unable to pull the line over far enough to show it all. When I go to my form that I created I can everything thing there, but I need to see it on the table also when I print. That is why I need to find a way to wrap it so that I can keep my pages to 8.5 x 14 with everything on it. Instead of tabloid and I am still losing information.

...Now I see. You are printing from the table.

Try using the report wizard to create your report. It is more geared to this type of thing. The table should be used for design, and rarely ever as a front to display data.

If you are viewing a form as data sheet, I can not recall seeing anywhere in the literature where you can set the cell to wrap.

Thank you. I will try that. I also did figure out how to wrap the text, I feel like an idiot now, but if you shrink the columns it wraps the text!! HEHE. But it would be nice to have it fit on 2 pages rather than 6. :) So I will definitely try the report wizard.
