I have a crosstab in a sub report that will only have 1 row but the number of columns is always different. I am trying to fiqure out how to wrap the crosstab when it reaches the end of the page and I still have more columns to print.

I have found a sample report where they created 2 formulas and then grouped on 1 of them and placed the crosstab in the new group. I tried this but what I get for my results is the crosstab repeating.

Thanks

GJ

Maybe you can get what you want another way. Reverse the crosstab so it has just one column and many rows. Then in the subreport, adjust the page so that it prints in columns.

Your grouping formula needs to be based on data in your columns

For example if columns were company names and you wanted to split over 3 pages your grouping formula would be something like

If startswith({companyname] in "A" to "H" then 1
else
If startswith({companyname] in "I" to "P" then 2
else
If startswith({companyname] in "Q" to "Z" then 3

Group on the formula and then check new page after

Thanks for the replies, I will give these a shot and see if I can get it to work.
