WP 10 - Quotation Marks show as a graphic

I have a Win2k computer running WordPerfect 10. Out of the blue, the quotes started showing and printing as a graphic instead of as quotation marks. She is using Courier New as the font (at the orders of her boss). Does anyone have any ideas on what to do for this? As I'm writing, I'm think maybe run pfreg? Thanks for any input! As always, it is greatly appreciated.

Check the quote type in Tools, Quickcorrect, SmartQuotes.

It was set for smart quotes. We removed the check mark in that box and it started working. Doesn't explain why it happened out of the blue, but it fixed it. Strange. Thanks for your response!
