Hi!

I am new to PIX firewall world and would like to have guideliness on setting up PIX 515 firewall at our office:

The IP address as as given below:

Outside IP: DHCP Setroute
Inside: 192.168.100.3
DMZ: 172.16.0.1

NO ROUTER in the organisation.
Internet is through DSL High Speed Modem

How do i configure PIX to allow all Inside user to connect to the Internet with NAT configured.

Regards

Mashadi

nat (inside) 1 0 0 0 0
global (outside) 1 interface

Thanks Igarner,

I have another issue to discuss:

My company is having ISA Server, we want to connect ISA server with PIX. ISA has 2 NIC one for internal network and second will be connected to Inside interface of PIX firewall.

How do in configure my PIX so that all inside users can connect to Internet through our ISA Server.

The configuration of IP address is as given below:

ISA Server:
192.168.100.4 (interface connected to PIX Inside)
10.0.1.2 (interface connected to inside network)

PIX:
Outside: DHCP setroute
Inside: 192.168.100.3 255.255.255.0
DMZ: 172.16.0.1 255.255.0.0

Please suggest the configuration on PIX interfaces, so as to enable internal users to connect to Internet through ISA server.

Regards,

Mashadi

Are you going to NAT these users?

The same. The ISA server will appear as just another workstation to the Pix, and the users behind it will all seem to come from it.
