I guess some of you have a story to include but I've worked for VARs in 7 years and I don't remember promising a customer to fix something and after 6 months of waiting tell them its chargeable.

When I left consulting and join this company 3 years ago they had a small program written by our VAR in dexterity. I told them it was missing some functionalities in the specs and they said they'll do it. Today after 6 months and working with a new VAR, they told us they haven't done it because it was low priority. My new VAR told them we're willing to pay and in 5 minutes I got a quote from our old VAR.

Pathetic!!!

I get a kick out of finding an error with the product and getting charged for the call.

Thanks!
Barb E.

I think that is one of the reasons why MS id going to get away from the VAR program. They would rather have their own people stick it to you.
