When I am trying to connect to Internet or whatever about Web, I am finding in the Event Viewer the following error: Error 1008

I don´t know why so please if anyone can help me out I will appreciate a lot.

Thanks in advance.

try going to add-remove progams in the control panel an uninstalling IIS.. reboot.. and reinstall it.

ow do I know which IIS version I do have tu use. I am with Windows 2000 Advance Server so please if you know which is the version tell me and I will try.

Thanks in advance.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT uninstall IIS. Uninstalling IIS will have major effects on your server.
Give me the event ID and a description of the event from the event log

Hello andykg,

I am thanking you in advance and as follow I am sending you the Error ID and description:

Error 1008: there is no token with that description

I will try to send you the accurate description later on, but I think that the service is looking for a token that doesn´t exist.

Thanks again, and if you want to send me your reply to carloscommerce@hotmail.com
