A client that just purchased a 1.6GHZ workstation with 512MB of Ram. Every time they try to run a specific process under FPW26a they get an error #43 on the workstation. I know that it is not the program, because they can run the same compiled function in a DOS shell running FPD26a. Any help would be appreciated.

See my comments in thread182-53335 and make sure you have a MEMLIMIT statement in your CONFIG.FPW. I use:
MEMLIMIT = 40, 2048, 16384

I've found if you specify more than this 16MB, it can cause problems.

I appreciate your response, the current MEMLIMIT = 85,2048,8192. I have already tried to change to MEMLIMIT = 40, 2048, 16384 and I still ot the error. Any other thoughts?

Are you sure it's actually using this CONFIG file? (Do you have somewhere in the program that displays sys(2019)?)

What exactly are you doing at that point in the program? Is it a screen with a listbox? Do you use any fonts that aren't installed on this machine? Are you displaying any images on this screen? Are you RUNing an external program?

Rick

All the program is doing is defining a browse window for about 5 lines of a data table. The problem is only happening on the machine that has a 1.6gig processor. the 1gig workstation is not having any problem with the commands.
