Can anyone created own web portal using ReportNet SDK. If so pls let me know.

I want to create my own ReportNet web portal where I would like to design this portal according to company's requirement.

what are the differenr reasons to use Cognos ReportNet SDK? In my company, we bought the ReportNet recently. We are not sure whether we are going to need ReportNet SDK or not? Any help would really be appreciated.
