I have encountered a problem which is driving me crazy! I was working on a magazine having a one column of text per page. For a particular page I wanted to make a double column of texts. From then onwards when I begin a new page the grids (for a two column layout) always come out automatically; whichI don't want. So my question is this : What is the best way to have a double column of text and how to disable this function when I don't need it. Hope some one will spare some time to help me out. Thanks in anticipation.

If its just for a single page you can draw a text box and then go to the text frame options (Apple Key + B) and set up columns for that text box only

The person who says it cannot be done
should not interrupt the person doing it. . . .
