I'm actually developping a new BCB application using a PSQL2000i SP4 database.
The problem I have is that we must face two different customers' configuration:
- Pervasive Workgroup for small config
- Pervasive for Windows NT Server for more than 10 users

I'm using ODBC access to do my part of job with BCB.
But ODBC entries looks ungly. I've made it work... but have to configure it all manually. If I have chance, PCC won't hang but sometimes :-(

Considerations:
1) it's not easy
2) configuration via/or after deploying the program's not simple for use, and even less simple for our customers.

Does somebody know a simple way to do the job
Thank you

Did you try to use DTO interfaces - create DNS, tables, others.

Well... it looks like it's a good idea but in my case it's not.
What I omited to say is that I also have to retrieve old Btrieve database that are located on a NetWare 3.12 server.
That's why ODBC looks a good compromise at a first glance...
What's boring, and not really clear (it's just my own opinion) is the DSN configuration. Would I've been simpler if it was the same with WGroup and Server config.
There's may be a trick that would simplify the job !?!

During a moment, I also thought Pervasive transactional through API programming. But in that case, it looks that I have to compile my program depending on the front OS.

Any other idea would be welcome
