I have created a system in Microsoft Acess2000 and released it in a run-time version. If the PC that is running it does not have Workgroup Admistrator installed, my system will automatically open and presume the user is Admin.

Does anyone know how to link a run time version to an existing mdw file??

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try this, substituting your own directory paths and login and passwords.

driveletter:\PathToRuntime /wrkgrp driveletter:\PathToWorkgroup\workgroup.mdw /user userid /pwd passowrd

Attention:
If your application can be opened without the original MDW file then it is NOT securized at all!
Be certain to check the security related articles in both MS KB and ACCESS ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA (
