Workflow Item Handler

Hi all,

I would apply categories on items inside attachment section and copy files to another location.
Therefore, i use Item handler feature.

My question is :

How apply categories on files inside attachment section (and not on attachment section) ?

Of course, I don't know which files will be add in attachment section.

with the out of box implementation of livelink workflow metadata(categories) can be applied only to the attachment or item reference attributes.That is how they coded it.To make it work like how you want your options are

1)Build a folder inside the attachments area and make a previous user do it as an Item reference.If the folder has metadata standard livelink business rules is to inherit.

2)use a WF enhancement package like XMLWFEXTENSIONs,WebReports Workflow,SUPAI etc and do what you want.

3)Code using an event script(several attachment pushers exist in the KB).
