Work with PDF into Director 1

I need to open a file .pdf in my projector and I'd like to do it without use Acrobat Reader.
How can I do it?

open "document.pdf" with "AcroRd32.exe"

now this only works if the user has acrobat installed if they dont you can kinda smash all licence agreements and put the AcroRd32.exe and all the DLL's on your finished CD and that works.

Hi there

Forget all that confusion, here's something i found in the other day.

There's an Xtra that you install in director, and you can download it from this location:

http://www.integration.qc.ca/downloads/download_library.asp

It will solve your problems, cause it doesn't need Acrobat reader to be opened.

After you download it, and have it installed, you only have to go to the Director menu Insert>Media Element>PDF Document, amd then select the PDF Document you wish to show to the people who opens the CD.

Very very simple, even i manage to acomplish it ... so.... it wont be dificult.

it works in both director 7 and 8.

hope you enjoy it.

After importing the pdf document in director, you have to send it to the stage and strech it. Like enlarging an image.
